Hospice Volunteer Training

Seeking compassionate, caring people who are capable of helping terminally ill patients and their families. Volunteers must complete 12 to 15 hours of training. For an interview call (708) 450-5072.

The Gottlieb bus fleet offers door-to-door service for patients. Whether you are coming for one appointment or several, our experienced staff will assist you onto the comfortable bus, help with your seat belt and make sure you arrive at the hospital and return to your home safely. Resident, Family & Community Education Sessions

• Activity Room on the Transitional Care Unit (TCU), 4 South

Experts present information about various topics ranging from how to prepare for the flu season to understanding vertigo to learning about how your body reacts to heat. Anyone is welcome to attend these 30 minutes sessions.

Yesterday's Youth Club

A social club for older adults who get together to enjoy bingo, outings, luncheons, parties and a variety of other events each month. This club meets the first Wednesday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost is $10 per year. Call (708) 450-4967.
